Regardless of some of the things we’ve admitted to over the months, we are not impolite, embarrassing people. There is not a rude bone in our body. However, we do have to come clean and tell you that there are multiple instances in every day of our lives when we have to stop ourselves from walking up to someone and saying girl, you need to fix those brows.

It doesn’t matter how good your skin care products are, how naturally beautiful you may be, or how much of a wizard you are with make-up. A bad pair of eyebrows will tank your face. Here are a few simple tips for putting your best face forward.

Don’t let your brow area age you

First thing’s first. If you think your anti-aging eye cream is for under your eyes and that’s it, you are incorrect. Get a great anti-aging eye cream like Dead Sea Premier’s Eye Cream and be sure to tap it all the way around your eye area and up to your brows. This will keep the skin in your brow area tight and keep it from developing that above the eye pooch.

The next thing you want to do in order to keep your brow area looking youthful is actually a tip for what not to do. Don’t over pluck. Thin eyebrows are aging, especially right now when Cara Delevigne’s bushy brows are reigning supreme.

You don’t need to go full Burt from Sesame Street, but if you’re guilty of a little too much plucking, take two weeks off from the tweezers and see if you can get a little more volume on the underside of your eyebrows.

Put down the Sharpie

Okay, so you’re probably not filling in your eyebrows with a big black marker. But while bold brows are a good look, we see way too many women walking around with a set of eyebrows that look like they were created with oil paint.

Regardless of if you use powder or a pencil to fill in your brows, an easy and cheap tip is to get a clean mascara brush and brush your brows after you’ve applied your product. This will help lessen the impact of your filler and make your eyebrows appear more natural.
